
Odusanya Adebayo Ayodeji was born on the 6th January 1966 in Lagos Island, Lagos State.
He started his schooling career at Yewande Memorial Primary School, Surulere, Lagos between 1972 and 1976, attended St’ Gregory College, Obalende, Lagos for his Secondary education between 1976 and 1981.
Odusanya went to the then University of Ife now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife between 1981 and 1986 for his B. Sc. Architecture and in 1988 for his M.Sc. Architecture.
He became member Nigeria Institute of Architects (N.I.A) with registration number [M1500] in 1996 and Architects Registration Council of Nigeria [ARCON] with Registration number [F1486] in 1997.
Architect Odusanya started his Architectural working career with Agbesua and Associates in 1991 and worked with the company till 1996.
He was employed into the State Civil Service on 8th August 1996 on GL 09, with the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure the appointment was regularized to Senior Architect GL 10 of the same year while the appointment was later confirmed on 8th August 1998.
He was promoted Principal Architect GL 12 on the 1st January 2000, Assistant Chief Architect GL 13 on 1st January 2003.
He was deployed to the Ministry of Housing between the 17th January 2001 and 2005, in 2005 Architect Odusanya was redeployed back to Ministry of Works and Infrastructure and was promoted Chief Architect GL 14 on the 1st January, 2006.
On the 1st January 2009, Architect Odusanya joined the Directorate level of the Lagos State Government workforce as he was promoted Assistant Director Architecture, in 2013 he rose to the post of the Deputy Director Architecture and in January 2017 he was promoted Director Architecture.
He became the Head of Directorate, Architectural, Building, and Quantity Surveying Services in 2018.
He was appointed the Permanent Secretary of the Office of Works in the Ministry of works and Infrastructure in March 2021.
